Placement & Training Cell at Vikram Shila Polytechnic looks after all affairs of campus placements of Diploma students of all departments independently. Placement & Training Cell is well-equipped with requisite infrastructure at par with world standards to support each and every stage of the placement process. Objective:
The prime objective of Training & Placement Cell is to provide world class training to Students by bridging the gap between theoretical/academic knowledge imparted during their study in initial stages and real-world functional, hands-on practical skills needed by the respective industries (and potential employers) to achieve their targets and thus making our students employable in the real sense of the term, paving a way for satisfying future career prospects. However, we liaise and showcase employablilty skills / talents of our graduates by bringing potential employers to campus for providing stepping-stone to young graduating techno-novices face-to-face employers. Students interact with representatives of the employers, become aware of recruitment methods, get first hand experience of group discussions, interviews and short-listing proces used by main-stream employers. This way they have opportunity to prove their mettle offering their talents and skills for the real-world working conditions needed by employers, especially the Leading Organisations of the country.
Training & Placement Cell—vibrant, well-planned, adequately staffed and equipped with adequate infrastructure at Vikramshila Polytechnic has a die-hard commitment to the cause of bridging the gap between present day industrial human resource needs and students who long for finding sound and satisfying career prospects. Its main concern is strengthening the interaction between Institute and Industry by means of effective, co-ordinated and dedicated professionalism. The cell has been, in the past, engaging in developing the students in all needed skills and been able to place them in reputed companies. Students are apprised of / trained about recruitment methodology, group communication, grooming, etiquettes and importance of their presentation skills on a continuous basis through seminars and workshops for worthy employment opportunities. It aims at, and has been successful in the past, in providing effective placement assistance to the students in final year itself.

Also, enhancement of vocational skills based on industry trends is also given a priority in all decisions.
